Question 1

How do I take a deposit and the APA?

Accepted Answer

Set the deposit on signature and add the advance provisioning allowance as its own line with its own due date. Payments by card or bank transfer go through your Stripe account, and wires are recorded on the trip.

Question 2

Can I sell add-ons such as water toys or provisioning packages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Define each add-on as a product with a description and price, and add it to any quote.

Question 3

Where do crew notes and guest preferences go?

Accepted Answer

Collect them as special requests and stop notes on the trip. They print on the itinerary for the captain and crew.

Question 4

How are multi-day charters priced?

Accepted Answer

Use your weekly or daily rates as lines on the quote, with seasonal rates from the price list. Each day of the itinerary lists its ports and anchorages.

Question 5

Is the charter agreement signed online?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The guest reads and signs the agreement, with your cancellation schedule and APA terms, online, and you keep the signed version.
